This week’s Redbull Culture Clash was one for the record books. The event, which took place on October 24th at Grand Central, pitted 4 of the nation’s hottest crews, Moombahton Massive, Slow Roast Records, Black Chiney Eccentric Sound and Basshead Music against each other for an all out battle of the bands.
The party has been garnishing some rave reviews, including big praise from the Miami New Times referring to the night as “The Best Party in Years“. Throughout the night, the crews brought the best that they had to offer, with almost every team taking the win of a different round. The top prize, however, ended up in the hands of Miami’s very own Basshead Music crew, who brought enough heat in the final round to entice the entire crowd to chant a collective, looming “basshead” cry that without a doubt helped to make up the judges’ minds.
Below, find a quick video recap of the night shot by Melanie Gapany for Miami Alive and featuring music by Bassnectar.
